One of the main goals of the Chamber is to encourage our community support our local businesses. Community events are a way for us to do that by bringing our town together and also encouraging outside residents to come to Rock Valley and explore all that we have to offer!
Our biggest celebration of the year! Held during the second week of August each year, it’s a week you won't want to miss. There's so many activities going on all throughout town. Rally 2024 will be August 7 through 11. Click here for more details.
The Rock Valley Chamber hosts a Boys' and Girls' Basketball Tournament each year. The boys' tournament is March 1st and 2nd of 2024. The girls' basketball tournament will be held on November 16, 2024.
School teams from 5th - 8th grade are welcome to come and compete! Annually, we host over 60 teams during these tournaments. These events are always a blast and bring many people to town. Due to the popularity in 2023, the Chamber is hosting drive-inn movie nights again in 2024! They will be held on the 2nd Thursday of June, July, and August (June 19, July 13, August 8). The movies will be played on a large DKOI sign at the Rock Valley Sports Complex again. It was a great addition to our schedule this year with so many community members in attendance! There is an early movie followed by a later movie.
This event is held semi-annually at Parkview Event Center. It has become a popular community event for the Chamber! We give out $1,000 worth of Chamber Gift Cards to the winners that will be spent right back into our local Chamber businesses. There are appetizers provided with a ticket purchase as well. BINGO Nights for 2024 will be on April 25 and October 3.
Mark your calendars for this year's Christmas celebration in Rock Valley hosted by the Rock Valley Chamber! There will be a variety of holiday festivities including a lighting ceremony, breakfast with some of our favorite holiday characters, and more on December 5 through 7.
Every year at the end of October, our Chamber businesses participate in Candy in the Valley! We block off main street and businesses set up tables or open up their storefronts to hand out candy. Dress up your kiddos and come join us! Candy in the Valley will be held on October 30, 2024 from 3:30pm - 5pm.
This NEW event is sure to be a blast! Our local restaurants are showcasing their culinary expertise and going head to head in the Battle of the Bites! Grab a punch card, visit participating restaurants during the month of March, try their feature meals, and vote for your favorites! Everyone who gets at least 5 punches and turns in their card to the Chamber office will be entered to win a $250 Chamber Gift Card! Learn more here.
